Nature Makes Me Happy

Zebra swallowtail

Sips minerals from the mud

Lets me catch beauty

My Joie de vivre

Crowds heart and soul to bursting

Must not scare him off

Butterfly happy

The spirit grows sailor wings

Exaltation airs

Chihuly with poppies

Chihuly glass sculptures at the Denver Botanic Gardens, the show opens June 14th, I believe the gardens may be closed several days this week in preparation

Dianthus

Delicate, my love

How careful, protective I

Of exquisite you

Open mouthed, spellbound

Paralyzed by wonderment

Inevitable

For my garden, love

You captivate all comers

All desire, dream on

Bright jewels of the pond

Look at you, feeder or foe?

Sinuous beauty

Water iris

Fey wetland beauties

Nodding in breezes, scented

Dragonfly feeders

The Creature That Ate The Mushrooms I Wanted To Photograph, Guess What? You're Modeling!

Pine sawyer beetle

Hopes I might be good eating

I am far too tough

Yet tender, gentle

I do not begrudge his try

Can't help it, small bot

Down and back you go

Ground dwelling mushroom eater

Cleanse palate of me

Home again, again

Searching my beetle buddy

"Bite" in top search terms

Given enough time

He'd work his way all through me

I ain't standing still
