Garden Party

a waterfall flows

music for the floral ball

Scented breezes drift

Prickly Rose Time

Reflect the light

Reflect each other

Double the scent

A thousand thorns

On the prickly roses

At peace back to back

It is their season

In the sun's heat

Welcome for the bees

Dancing upon the prairie wind

Early Ones

The aconite

Beneath bare trees

Wake to the lengthening sun

Heralds of gladness

First feed the bees

Though winter is not done

Open to each other

Speak as they need

Seeds started, more than one

It matters not 

More snows received

The flowers have had their fun

Spring on its way

Winter's grip unseized

The Ice Queen's on the run
