Vita Incipit

Spring is a poem that nature sings
The sun ever more generous each day
Drink deep of the joy the new life brings
Winter's last few punches on the way

Only the hardy are born right now
Tough enough to take another freeze
The knife winter winds have not blown out
Survival is not gained with ease

So kind, the surfeit of early spring blooms
So longed for in midwinter's death
Just a patch of color to dispel the gloom
Quickens the heart, sharpens cold breath

Awaken, my heart!
Dare to hope.

Jungle machete
Fighting the vegetation
The orchids laughing

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You tend not to want the attention of people who make you have to prove yourself before they will let you in their "club." These people are simply not keen or observant enough to warrant your attention.
