Daffodils bloom dreams

To spite the heavy spring snow

The sun fights for them

Insulating ice

Hopefully protecting buds

Else no crabapples

Bumblebee dandy

Fashionably striped soft fur

Hold still for photo 

Emo Spring

Each snow feeds new life

Burgeoning and relentless

So as I must be

Free water and warmth

Now is the time, seize the day!

Grow, grow, explode out!

Take strength, breathe it in

Take spring inside, make you bloom

Glorious face, sun'd

Raindrops, green tree snake

Her jungle home, a glass tank

And the mice find her

Shining golden eyes

The cold earth now begins 

To share the colorful surprises

Crafted in dark bulbs

Secretly under snowy blankets

Patient until the sun gently

Drives them mad with warm love

Until they cannot help

But burst forth upward

Trying to touch their deity

Their lifesource

With the most joyous of hues

Vale of shadows

Bridge of sighs

sunless for me
